Hey Guys!!!!
I know its been quite a while but time to give an update on my hair. Back in April I got my ends cut at the salon. My hair went from APL to a little longer than SL. Needless to say I was depressed. But since then, my hair has grown back and my ends look so much thicker. Definitely a change from the scraggely looking ends I had before. Once I got my ends cut I got a sew in weave and I know this helped retain length. I'm getting a new sew in next weekend (YAY!). I'll probably leave that in for 2mths. I'll post a pic once I get the sew in!
But for now, this is what my hair looks like. Feel free to compare it to the hair pic I posted a few posts ago:

Hair Update!
Hey Guys!!!!
I know its been a while since I updated you but I've been soooo busy!
Ok so I've been rocking my curly hair for about 3 weeks now. I cowash about 2x a week and shampoo once a week (usually on Saturdays). Initially I would blow dry my hair after a wash but I'm trying to stay as heat free as possible so I've stopped completely. The weather out here has been fairly nice so I usually just wash and go! A lot less hassle now too. Just wash, condition, gel and go!
Gotta get back to work so talk to ya soon!

Hair Woes...
I'm kind of over the straightening thing. All its given me is split ends and uncontrolled frizziness. Straightening my hair has taken away my Saturday/Sunday mornings and the beautiful, natural hair that God had given me. So I've decided to go on a heat diet. No more heat indefinitely. Besides, I think curly hair is oh so sexy! :-)
Ok so starting this weekend I'm going to start my "wash n go era." LOL. I'm going to texlax my roots this weekend (its the only way my hair wont look like a curly afro lol) I'm gonna clarify my hair once a week and cowash every other day and use leave-in-conditioner. Nightly, I will follow my usual moisturize and oil seal routine. I will also continue to MTG my roots (more on that later!) I will use a satin bonnet to sleep in at night!
My transition to curly begins this weekend, I'll post a vid to show you the process. Wish me luck!

My First RollerSet
So last night I did my first rollerset!!!! :-) :-) :-)
I CO-washed my hair first using my Olive Oil deep conditioner. I then applied African Pride leave in conditioner and heat protector. I then detangled my hair. Since my hair is natural I had to comb through and get each section as straight as possible before I could roll it in the rollers. I then grabbed my laptop and plopped my butt under the dryer. An hour and half later....and viola smooth, silky hair (I promise to post pics next time!). The only issue I had were with my roots, they were super curly :-(. To fix this, I applied Olive Oil Moisturizer and Apoghee Essential Oils to my hair, parted my hair in sections, then flat ironed my roots. My hair looks great and feels so smooth.
The method of appliying moisturizer and oil to my hair every night is really working out for me..no more frizzy, dry ends and brokeb hair strands in the sink. My hair has never looked and felt healthier!
This weekend...Protein Time!

The Beginning...
For as long as I could remember I've wanted long, flowy hair. I've tried weaves, wigs, sew-in and every kind of hair product you can thing of to achieve this.
Years later and little change in growth, I've finally decided to take charge of my own hair!
Right now I'm at armpit length and I am DETERMINED to reach bra strap length by my birthday APRIL 29. That means I have to grow 2 inches in 2mths!!!! Can it be done???
Lets See...
